I graduated from WKU and moved away for graduate school but decided to move back here in March 2023 to be closer to family and friends. I wanted to find local employment opportunities so I wouldn’t have to continue commuting to my previous job. I was glad to find BG Works to use for job hunting as I had not had much luck with websites such as LinkedIn and Indeed as many of the listings were already filled but hadn’t been removed, or weren’t relevant to my education or past job experiences. BG Works showed a clear salary range, benefit description, list of available positions, and list of qualifications for Graves Gilbert Clinic and allowed me to fill out one form showing my interest in employment (which is certainly easier than filling out multiple forms for each position). I think BG Works should try to get even more employers to list their available positions because the website is very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
